Gastric ulcer after shock

Answer to this question is yes, but this is not to say that all frightened of the people will have gastric ulcers, only a small number of people in the spirit of being a strong stimulation of the disease will occur. Leading to ulcers may be due to the patient by a strong spirit of excitement and sympathetic stimulation caused by increased level of blood catecholamines, so that the lower gastric arteriovenous short circuit and opening up, so the normal flow through the gastric and duodenal mucosal capillary bed the blood will be diverted to the submucosal layer of arteriovenous short circuit and no longer flows through the stomach mucosa. So that severe stress can occur during the mucosal ischemia, reduced blood flow, eventually leading to severe mucosal damage. When the mucosal ischemia and necrosis area when they form a stress ulcer. At this point, the hydrochloric acid and pepsin digestion can accelerate the formation of stress ulcer, because of the gastric mucosal ischemia more easily than normal mucosa by hydrochloric acid and pepsin digestion.

In the stress state, the excessive sympathetic nervous excitement caused mucosal ischemia, caused by parasympathetic reflex excitement, so that mucosal congestion occurs, thereby further causing mucosal injury and necrosis, leading to the formation of ulcers, as well as bleeding and perforation. In such a stress-induced ulcer cases, a considerable proportion of patients with bleeding, and to bleeding as the first symptom, and perforation can occur. This should be cause for concern. Treatment should first remove the psychological factors, and make acid and anti-choline to protect gastric mucosa of treatment, for bleeding or continuous bleeding patients should consider surgery.
